Overview of the core elements of adibus InfoDisplays

adibus InfoDisplays is a complete information solution for public outdoor and indoor areas.

adibus outdoor displays are available in a number of variants and are all designed specifically for outdoor use. The displays can withstand extreme weather conditions, shifts in temperature and vandalism.

Adibus indoor displays are available from 15" up to 100" and even larger with e.g. building a 2*2 matrix display. The displays are prepared for indodor conditions, high usage and vandalism.

The displays can be wall-mounted, built-in or delivered as a complete stand solution, with a speech module.

The displays can be with either LED, TFT or E-paper technology.

Content

Publishing and managing content like traffic information, advertisement, news update etc. Timetables, stop information , announcements etc. are centrally stored and usually delivered from external systems

Server

adibus solutions are hosted centrally and there is no need for locally IT hosting and operations.

Uploads

The distribution and communication with the buses and trains uses the mobile network, securing that the solution is online.

Route selection

Route selection is done in the buses by the driver. Form there on the content on screens and realtime forecasts will run automatically

Real Time

This solution can be supplied with full integration for real time data from a central system, enabling the display of not just arrival and departure data but also real time information relating to delays and cancellations.

The screens can be split into separate areas - one showing delays and realtime information, another showing important messages as a running text and the lasest product information or different ticketing options.

Content could be internet pages, videos, graphics, XML-data, templates etc. There are more than 25 types of different content.

Additional Functions

Adibus offers an additional CallOut function which can be added to the bottom of the display panel.

This function enables “read out” of information shown on the display as well as verbal call out for particular departures.

This function is of particular assistance to visually impaired travellers.
